The acrylic body is unaffected by dilute mineral acids & bases except Hydrolic Acid & Ammonium Hydroxide.  The Ph range of 1-14 is ideal and up to 5% w/w of acids or 30% bases can be used.

Cleaning:  Always clean acrylic burettes with a mild solution of detergent.  Acid cleaning solutions or wire handled brushes are not recommended.  The teflon plug can be taken out by squeezing & slipping off the retainin o-ring.
