This large general purpose air cored coil is similar to a Helmholtz coil but the number of turns is 400 and the wire carries a current of about 1A. It can lie flat or can stand edgeways from the table. It is complete with 4mm spin free IEC terminals.
Average diameter of the coil is 150mm.
