KUNDT'S APPARATUS 50mmDx800mmL C/W MIC & SPEAKER
KUNDTS
- SW1996-001
The IEC 'Kundt's Apparatus' is a new high quality item for the study of sound and waves, standing waves, resonance, musical instruments and tones. The apparatus includes:
The transparent resonance tube, 850mm long with metric scale, 2x side holes and sliding shutters, an adjustable piston, a miniature microphone which can be passed up the tube, a mini-speaker that fits to one end of the tube and produces the sound waves, a driver to interface the speaker to an amplifier or oscilloscope and an instruction booklet.
Only a Signal Generator LB3754-001 or LB3756-101 or LB3758-001 is required to run the equipment. An oscilloscope is ideal to determine the maximum and minimum sound levels although a normal amplifier does the job too audibly.
