A useful and powerful motor drive unit.   Low voltage model runs from up to 12V.AC or DC from a PlugPak or by banana sockets from a normal classroom  power supply.  For mains powered model,  see LB2200-101.

 

Rectangular shape can be clamped to the bench or held down with elastic bands or with a weight on top.   A pulley on the motor shaft can drive belts of various types.  

Speed control on the opposite end provides smooth control from almost stopped to about 3000 revs per minute.
